ABOUT
BUILT BY SOMEONE WHO'S BEEN ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BARRICADE.

WHY BARRICADE EXISTS.
I’ve watched too many artists pour everything they have into a tour only to hand 15-20% of the door to a platform that keeps their fan list, gates their payout, and makes the checkout page look like a parking ticket. Their fans deserve a better first impression, and the artist deserves their money.
Barricade is the platform I wished existed. A branded page that looks like the artist, a checkout that goes straight to their Stripe account, a fan list they own and can export any time, and a flat 7% fee with nothing hidden. That’s it. No venue fees, no drip-pricing, no “convenience” charges the fan can itemize and resent.
WHO'S BEHIND IT.
Barricade is built by John Gomez. It’s a small team today — that’s a feature, not a flaw. Every email you send lands in front of a real person with context on your show. Every piece of the product is built with the bias of someone who cares about the outcome more than the quarterly metric.
We’re self-funded and deliberately small. The cost structure (7% flat, Stripe pass-through, nothing else) only works because we don’t have a cap table to feed. If we ever change that math, current artists get grandfathered into the original terms. In writing.
WHERE WE ARE.
We’re in our founding-artist phase. Stripe live mode is on. Real money has moved through the platform and split correctly to real artist accounts. The product works. What we’re doing now is onboarding the first few artists carefully, one at a time, so we can hand-fit the flow to real tours before we scale the door wider.
If you’re a manager, a label, an artist’s team, or an artist reading this yourself — we’d love to talk about whether Barricade fits your next run.
WANT TO TALK?
